The young Tsenpo Trisong Detsen grapples with the aftermath of his father’s murder. Tibet is in turmoil, and old wounds were ripped open with Me Agtsom’s murder. Anti-Buddhist factions at court took charge of the country, with the goal of eradicating the foreign religion from the country once and for all.

Amidst the infighting, the Emperor maneuvers his way out of a gilded cage. With loyal allies and a deft hand, Trisong Detsen rights the ship of state and returns Tibet to its steady course. But in order to get there, he would first have to overcome his isolation and mistrust.
